| What else could it be?
Ok, ok...so its daylight savings. But I hear so much blamed on global warming I thought I might as well add that to the list.
All this dark is making me tired.

| I'm a sucker for infomercials. I've never acted on this minor amusement but am very intrigued by the whole genre and rather tempted by their persuasive $19.99 deals with bonus items that themselves are worth more than $19.99!
Yesterday I was driving to pick up the trades for work and hit an open car door snapping off my passenger side mirror. Fortunately the arm of the mirror came off in one piece, breaking from the car at the base, and the only thing that is damaged is the actual mirror. I've decided to fix this myself - as I spent $250 getting my drivers side mirror replaced not long ago after a hit and run and don't feel like sinking that much into the other side of a car that is slowly whittling away at what little savings I have and won't last me too much longer. Also, it's pretty much a guarantee that I'll hit another open car door or some other object, sedentary or moving, with that mirror again (they stick out so far!) so I might as well just wait until then to get it fixed for real.
After some quick internet research I came across a product called ThisGlueWorks. The infomercial-lover in me reacted immediately to the customer testimonies and promises plastered all over the website. I sent an query in and received a reply saying this product will definitely hold hold the mirror to my car but will not hold the glass mirror itself. I should be receiving this miracle glue in 5 days. Next step is to order a replacement mirror from an auto parts store up the street. In all this project will be 1/5 the cost of an entire replacement.
